When I learned here in California  that my dear friend and brother Pastor Hunsdale in Belfast, Northern Ireland went home  to be with the Lord it was with the characteristic sense if both joy and sadness I always sense when a brother or sister in faith goes home to await the rest of us with Jesus in glory.
Robert's long battle with cancer that caused his retirement from ministry as senior pastor of Agape Fellowship in Belfast , an often ugly battle that so anguished his wife Wendy and  their children ended  as such battles always end - in victory . It ended in victory because of the victory of the One who conquered death, the Jesus whom Pastor Robert so loved and so trusted for salvation. Our temporary separation will cause me and so many others to miss Robert. He was a friend among friends. Like so many Northern Irish preachers, Robert had a shepherd's heart but something of a theologian's brain. It will be strange for me to go to Belfast and Robert be away with The Lord, now dead to the cruel disease that plagued him but very much alive in Christ.
I do not know whether I shall be here when Jesus comes for His true church or if Jesus will come for me personally. Either way, I know that Robert will be with Him when He comes (1 Timothy 4:14).
Moriel & Jacob Prasch request urgent prayer for our copy editor Danny Isom who is unexpectedly in hospital for a pace maker implant due to a cardiac crises on top of his kidney condition requiring dialysis and his recent victory over cancer.
Since then Danny had a pace maker implant that failed. He has developed an abscess in his right hip musculature. As soon as this is cleared up with antibiotics and the issue is resolved, Danny will have his CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Graft).
Are you able to help defend Israel this Christmas?
One of the most unwelcome Christmas traditions of recent years has been the one-sided focus on Bethlehem by anti-Israel activists. This small town in the West Bank is home to not only one of the most revered sites in Christianity, but also a dwindling Christian community. The blame for this is placed solely on Israel"s separation barrier, with no mention made of the fact that it was constructed to stop terrorist attacks (saving lives on both sides). Nor is any explanation given for why Christians are in fact disappearing from both the Palestinian territories, and the wider Middle East as a whole " with the exception of Israel. The only country in the region where Christians are free to live and worship in freedom and safety has become the prime target of those who shroud their dislike for Israel in alleged concern for this religious minority.
Blessings in Jesus to all of our brethren with much gratitude in Christ for your prayers and support as we approach the arrival of 2014 and close of the present year (actually the Jews in Moriel observe two New Years, the secular one and Rosh Hashanah and/or the 1st of Nissan).
Please pray for Moriel affiliates in the Path of the current Typhoon
in the Philippines. As it has been said, this is the biggest typhoon this year
and there are numerous Moriel friends directly in its path.
It was with a combination of joy and sadness that we learned of the loss and the gain of our dear friend and sister in Jesus Ruth Hunt, widow of Dave Hunt whom she faithfully stood by in his battle to defend the Body of Christ and proclaim scriptural truth in an age of apostate error.
The last decade of Ruth's life was not easy, as she watched her beloved daughter eventually succumb to a brain cancer and her beloved Dave struggle to hang on his last few years before going home to glory and a well deserved reward. Ruth is now with Jesus , with her daughter, and with Dave. We who remain shall miss her warmth, her smile, and her unyielding commitment to Jesus. I shall on a personal note always recall the tasty salmon dinner she cooked for me at her home on Oregon. The next time I eat with Dave and Ruth will be at The Marriage Supper of The Lamb. In the interim, our loss is her gain.

It was with very considerable sadness that we learned of the temporary loss of our friend & brother Max Rosenquist who was a volunteer rep for Moriel in the Chicago area. Max was seminary educated, a clever person, and a faithful servant of The Lord. Max was an early champion of the rapture being between the 6th & 7th seals who stood with Moriel in our disagreement with Pre Tribulationism. We shall miss Max until we are re-united. Max thrived on the subject of the return of Jesus and the rapture - but now he no longer needs to wait for Jesus.
We do however extend our heartfelt condolences to his dear wife Betty and to his beloved family.
James Jacob Prasch
It is with mourning and compassion for his wife that Moriel and Jacob Prasch learned that Doug Harris of Reachout Trust went to be with The Lord.Â
I had always promised before the Lord Jesus two things concerning Christian TV. The first is that I would never "Ride in Ahab's Chariot"; that is I would not appear on the same channel, network, or station that broadcast heretical money preachers. I would not want Moriel to be misunderstood as endorsing such deceivers who have prostituted God's Word or allow us to be identified with them in the eyes of the secular public. Â They discredit the Gospel of Salvation to the world, twisting the truth into a financial con game.Â
Although we rejoice at his homecoming, for his family and ourselves it was with sadness that we learned Brother Aeron Morgan, former General Superintendent of The Assemblies of God in both the UK and Australia and former principal of Southern Cross (formerly Commonwealth) Bible college. He had been struggling with an illness for some months.
