It's not easy walking through the minefield called Middle Eastern politics, and a Vatican document released Sunday managed to criticize Israel, Egypt, Islam and even Christian fundamentalists.
The 46-page text, "The Catholic Church in the Middle East: Communion and Witness," will serve as a working document for an October meeting at the Vatican about the Mideast.
How She Harmed Her Helpers As Well As Those They 'Helped'

Some years after I became a Catholic, I joined Mother Teresa's congregation, the Missionaries of Charity. I was one of her sisters for nine and a half years, living in the Bronx, Rome, and San Francisco, until I became disillusioned and left in May 1989. As I reentered the world, I slowly began to unravel the tangle of lies in which I had lived. I wondered how I could have believed them for so long.

In March 1994 leading evangelicals and Roman Catholics signed a declaration called: "Evangelicals and Catholics together for the third millennium." This document says that Catholics and Protestants who have worked together in opposing abortion and pornography should "finally accept each other as Christians"¦ and stop proselytizing each other's flocks." Many people in the Church of England, Lutherans, Baptists and other major denominations are now convinced that Catholics are their fellow believers in the one true God.
There is now a website titled "The Dangers of Roman Catholic Schools". It is dedicated to warning ANYONE who might be considering enrolling their children in a Catholic school. It not only has a complete online transcription of Jacob's booklet, "The Roman Catholic Church & the Abuse of Children" but from that page anyone can download the entire booklet for free to distribute as necessary. There is also a "Links to Resources" page providing both Christian and secular sources documenting and warning of the problem for independent verification of the danger.
This is something you will want to share with anyone who currently has children enrolled in or is considering enrolling children in a Catholic institution.

The Spectator magazine organised a debate on the subject "˜England should become a Catholic Country again' on 2nd March 2010. The speakers for the motion, Cardinal Cormac Murphy O'Connor, Piers Paul Reid and Rev Dom Antony Sutch, were all strong Roman Catholics who made their case for Roman Catholicism being the dominant church while being inclusive of other churches to give a united Christian witness to our secular society. The speakers against the motion were Lord Harries, former Anglican Bishop of Oxford, Matthew Parris, a journalist with The Times and Stephen Pound, a Labour MP and a Roman Catholic.
The prelude to the passion narratives in the Gospels show a John the Baptist who went straight against Herod, the consummate politician of his day for moral issues.  Jesus did the same. Both also went against the Levitical clergy and the Sanhedrin in a non-partisan way be it the Sadducees or Pharisees. To them truth was truth, righteousness was righteousness, and sin was sin. According to the New Testament, their God is no respecter of persons.  Their priorities were never politically or financially motivated. In the climate that I grew up and in modern Americas today things have plainly changed.

A group of "traditional Anglicans" in Australia has voted to accept the recent invitation of Pope Benedict XVI to convert to full communion with the Roman Catholic Church, whilst retaining their membership of the Anglican Church.
Meeting in Melbourne on Feb. 13, the Australian branch of Forward in Faith, which comprises many members of the international anglo-catholic grouping called the Traditional Anglican Communion, "received with gratitude" the Pope's invitation to join Rome. They decided unanimously to establish a working group to enable the process to move forward.

I am finding it quite disturbing of the news which states that the Queen is allowing for the Pope to stay at Buckingham Palace on his visit to the United Kingdom next year. It is equally disturbing that the Queen and members of the Royal Family have an affinity to Roman Catholicism. If so, then expect the Judgement of God to deepen upon this nation of ours. What with the shenanigans that are taking place within  the Church of England, the charismatics doing their own thing in the sight of God, and the modern western christian church in disarray, judgement is surely taking place in the House of the Lord. And upon the nation!
