One of the real hot topics among evangelicals today is the James Dobson led movement calling for Christians to remove their children from the government's humanist school system.
Further to our previous Rapid Lobbying Action we have now heard that the Ephesus Protestant Church at Seljuk has now been given the deadline of 14 October to remove not only the superstructure (providing shade and shelter) which contravenes building regulations, but also the parapet around the roof, the solar power panel and the air-conditioning unit. Thus, not only will the roof (a valuable extra room) be too hot and unsafe to use, but the whole building will be rendered unusable without power and air-conditioning. In view of these developments we have taken the unusual step of contacting you a second time to ask if you can write to your MP, MEP and the Turkish Ambassador. We were very grateful for your letters to the mayor. If you are able to write again please act as soon as you can in order in order to prevent the council taking its threatened action against the church.
Predictably, this seemly cultic sect failed to address the specific issues raised by Mr. Lister in his article, but sought to attack Moriel, David Lister, and Jacob Prasch as a means of circumventing the issues.

The Church of England's governing body has confirmed it will ordain women bishops but also approved measures to accommodate traditionalist opponents.
After six hours of debate over the direction to be taken by the 450-year-old church, the solution hammered out by the synod was a typical Anglican compromise that sought to avoid a mass walkout by opponents of women bishops.
To Whom It May Concern
A series of vicious and unfounded attacks against Pastor John Higgins, Mike Gendron, and others (including members of the Moriel team) are being circulated concerning events that transpired at a Conference held at a Calvary Chapel in Tempe , Arizona three years ago in June of 2005 which for some inexplicable reason has been resurrected as an issue. The Conference theme and aim was Roman Catholicism, the Evangelization of Roman Catholics, and the dangers of the ecumenical movement.
