I heard Jacob speak as a guest on TruNews radio program and was quite impressed with his viewpoints. Would Jacob please answer 2 questions I have for him:
When does he believe the rapture of the Church will take place in relation to the 7 year Tribulation?
What does he think about the modern day Apostolic Movement. Does he believe the office of Apostle is relevant for today?

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. "” Luke 6:45
There seems to be a growing trend in the Church for the clergy to feed the sensual appetite through their sermons. What we are dealing with are pastors who have dirty minds and potty mouths. The word that best describes them is profane.
The following definition of profane is from the Merriam Webster dictionary:
1: to treat (something sacred) with abuse, irreverence, or contempt: desecrate
2: to debase by a wrong, unworthy, or vulgar use
So profanity is language that shows disrespect for something sacred, such as the name of God. Not taking the Lord's Name in vain is one of the Ten Commandments:
Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain (Exodus 20:7).
Yad Hashmonah is a Messianic Jewish village community with a hotel facility developed by Israeli believers and Christians from Finland. We urge prayer for Yad Hashmonah. The prayer request from Israel is as follows:
Dear friends in the Lord,
The judge ruled against us, claiming that our refusal to allow gay marriage in the Yad Hashmona guest-house is against the law. we were fined 80,000 shekelsand together with our expenses in this case, its very heavy on us.
This is a quote from the ruling:
""Every person who opens a public business in Israel should know that they must serve the whole public equally, without discrimination... which covers sexual orientation as well. As soon as the defendants opened their doors to all, they cannot close them for those who they believe do not meet the requirements found in the Bible or New Testament."
Needless to say, we do not close our doors to anyone who comes to Yad Hashmona, on the contrary, we are a living testimony of good news of the Messiah to many Israelis that pass through us, this is what I am here for. to be a testimony. But to hold a marriage ceremony of a lesbian couple in Yad Hashmona is to violate God's requirement over this place that we claim to be a Messianic village, and we could not do that.
The Lesbian couple's lawyer, claims that the verdict is a precedent in the sense that "the court decided that the principal of equality trumps the argument for freedom of religion and beliefs". So when it came to our right for freedom of faith, and their right to wed at our village, they won.
What happened yesterday was a shock to me. I know how biased the media is, but the extent of the blindness and aggressive responses, took me by surprise.
Immediately upon advertising the verdict as a lesbian victory in the main page of YNET, the Israeli on-line news page, and Ha'aretz, tens of responses appeared praising the couple and calling us many names.
No one even considers the small community in this village and its rights, the right to hold on to scriptural principles, the right to be respected and not violated in your own home.
No one approached us for responses or wanted to hear our side, because the media is not interested in our "primitive stand". When I tried to write a comment to the article, like hundreds of others, it was not posted!
They rejected again and again my comment and other friends comments who tried to stand with us. Talk about freedom of speech...
Letters of mockery were sent to our reception and this morning we received phone calls by angry Israelis attacking our place, saying they did not know we "believe this foolishness" or are "so old-fashioned". Two people called to say they are thinking to cancel their events here.
In Haaretz, it was quoted that the couple "... expressed hope that the owners of the hall wouldn't refuse to hold gay or lesbian events. "Everyone needs to choose where they celebrate. I would be interested to know if they (Yad Hashmona) accept or reject same-sex couples in the future..."so this morning more phone calls were made by guys asking about wedding details, and the receptionist was afraid it is a trap done on purpose, and asked for guidance what to say to avoid another law suit.
But also good came of it: I received phone calls by religious people, praising our courage to stand on God's word, some even said they wished they had a stage to respond to this gay issue abuse of society. I had a chance to share with some that I believe God sees and hears and He will bring blessing from this.
I always felt that God's verse for our place is from Mathew 5: "You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden".
Being a group of believers on this hill, a known Messianic village, we cannot hide, even if we wanted to. We cannot hide who we are and that is why we are attacked, it is not us but God on the stand. I may be offended (which I am today, believe me), but God isn't. He was not surprised when His son was crucified and He is not surprised when people are mocking His principles. He will have the final word and we should not loose heart.
Very soon major decisions will have to be made now in regard to our small little hotel's future. We need to redefine what it is that we serve and what is the name of our business.
And if this case means to close the hotel and make it something else..a Bible campus, or a Messianic retreat place... I don't know what, but we will have to do it.
We are carried in Yad Hashmona on wings of grace, I know that. I pray for guidance, clarity of direction and much peace in the process for the people who live here.
Continue to pray for our nation who is so much in the dark, continue to pray for the light to shine in Israel, continue to pray for the "messenger of good news" to do their work.
We need all the prayer we can have to lift this case up before our father for great testimony!
Thank you for standing with me in prayer,
I appreciate it with all my heart,

Q. 74. What is the direct antidote to Methodism, the doctrine of heart holiness?
A. Calvinism: all the devices of Satan, for these fifty years have done far less toward stopping the work of God, that that single doctrine. It strikes at the heart of salvation from sin, previous to glory, putting the matter on quite another issue.
Q.75. But wherein lies the charm of this doctrine: What makes men swallow it so greedily?
A. (1.) It seems to magnify Christ: although in reality it supposes him to have died in vain. For the absolutely elect must have been saved without him; and the none-elect cannot be saved by him.
(2.) It is highly pleasing to flesh and blood, final perserverance in particular.
Q. 76. What can be done to guard against it?
A. (1.) Let all our preachers carefully read over ours and Mr. Fletcher's tracts.
(2.) Let them frequently and explicitly preach the truth, though not in a controversial way. But let them take care to do it in love and gentleness; not in bitterness, not returning railing for railing: let whose who preach it have all this to themselves.
(3.) Do not imitate them in screaming, allegorising, boasting: rather mildly expose these things when time serves.
(4.) Imitate them in this: they readily seize upon any one that is newly convinced or converted. Be diligent to prevent them, and to guard those tender minds against the predestinarian poison.
(5.) Answer their objections, as occasion offers, both in public and private. But take care to do this with all possible sweetness both of look and of accent.
(6.) Very frequently, both in public and private, advise our people not to hear therein.
(7.) Make it a matter of constant and earnest prayer, that God would stop the plague.

An exhibit in the new Giants' Causeway Visitors' Centre acknowledges the creationist view of how the world-famous stones were formed.
The National Trust said it wanted to "reflect and respect" the fact that some people contest the views of mainstream science.
Its state-of-the-art new complex, which opened on Tuesday, features an interactive audio exhibition showcasing the stories and the science behind the Giants' Causeway.
Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness. (2 Thessalonians 2:8-12)
There seem to be some Christians who are afraid that they will accidentally, or by some kind of clever ruse, be tricked into receiving the mark of the beast. However, Scripture teaches us that spiritual deception does not work that way, but is the inevitable destination of someone who willfully and consciously chooses to live in opposition to God's Word and ways. In Paul's teaching about the coming of the Antichrist, we are provided with a list which confirms exactly that, showing precisely what it takes to be deceived by Satan in the character of the Antichrist: "they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved" is the foundation leaving them vulnerable to "a deluding influence" ultimately causing them to "believe what is false" because "they did not believe the truth". This is succinctly summarized as "pleasure in wickedness". By standing in the future and looking back from the point of view of the end result, Paul is also giving us a test for apostasy, a kind of roadmap by which we can gage the progress of apostasy at its earliest stages in the present time. These are not merely measurements which we strictly apply to others, but even more importantly that we use for ourselves.

More than a year ago, a visitor to Walk with the Word noticed that one of the organizations we encourage Christians to financially support was Wycliffe Bible Translators. They wanted to know how we could support an organization which was purposely mistranslating the Scriptures for Muslim people groups so as not to offend them. Those of us directly connected to Walk with the Word not only have had tangible involvement in missions organizations, but long-time personal friends and ministry contacts at Wycliffe. Truthfully, we rejected this assertion out of hand and politely rebuked the submitter for making an accusation without providing tangible evidence to support it. To our dismay, we were then provided a host of documents and presentations which sort of politely rebuked us right back. As it turned out, not only had members of Wycliffe/SIL published mistranslated Scripture so as not to offend Muslim-centric people groups when it comes to the issue of Jesus "the Son of God" and "God the Father", but there were executives actually advertising this "advancement" as part of their recruiting presentations to enlist new translators to the ranks. Since then we have become aware of a host of websites, blogs and online forums all devoted to this issue.
Anti Israel activist Stephen Sizer addressed a conference in Malaysia in league with individuals connected to the Islamic terror organization Hamas. While 22 percent of university students in Israel are Arab and thousands of Arabs voluntarily serve in the Israeli military, the Malaysian government operates a strict racial apartheid policy enshrined in pro Islamic law where Chinese, Christian, and ethnic Indian students are forced to study abroad. Yet in Malaysia, Sizer lied denouncing Israel as apartheid but uttered not a sentence about the documented apartheid in Malaysia.
