The atmosphere on the campus of Oral Roberts University was a bit more relaxed Thursday, with news that the university had settled a lawsuit with two former professors.
"Everyone's just breathing easier, that's for sure," said Ken Weed, ORU chemistry professor. "We're glad it's behind us."
Recently anti Zionist Anglican Stephen Sizer who has aligned himself with Iran against Israel appeared in his Anglican vestments costume on Iranian TV at their invitation to denounce Israel.
Iranian sponsorship of terror, arming of Shia militias that use Iranian weapons and munitions to kill British soldiers in Iraq and murder civilians did not prevent Sizer from appearing on Ahmadinejad"sTV.
Neither did the martyring of 60% of Irans Christian pastors or the law currently being demanded by this regime for mandatory execution of Moslem converts to Christ.
As in the books of Kings and Chronicles, nations get the leaders they deserve.
Reagan was a liar who promised naive and undiscerning Christians that he was pro-life, only to appoint Sandra Day O’Connor, a pro abortion judge to the Supreme Court. O'Connor wrote the court’s decisions ordering the Ten Commandments out the Alabama Judicial building and the Texas state anti -sodomy law legally opening the path to set in motion the drive for same sex marriage . This was a Reagan Republican. The same Reagan whose administration was surrounded by indicted purveyors of sleaze from Meese to Poindexter to Weinberger - all neo-conservatives. It was Reagan who armed terrorist Iran, lied about it, and plead senility. It is a travesty that he was never impeached and that Caspar Weinberger did not die in federal prison, but was instead given amnesty by George Bush Sr. with whom he served in the same corrupt Reagan White House.

Islamic sharia law courts in Britain are exploiting a little-known legal clause to make their verdicts officially binding under UK law in cases including divorce, financial disputes and even domestic violence.
A new network of courts in five major cities is hearing cases where Muslims involved agree to be bound by traditional sharia law, and under the 1996 Arbitration Act the court's decisions can then be enforced by the county courts or the High Court.

Financial meltdown triggers prayer sessions citywide
Starting early last Sunday morning, the turmoil in New York 's financial markets triggered a spiritual response among Christian leaders reminiscent of the response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Cell phone text messages quickly spread calls to prayer. "Barclay has pulled out of Lehman deal," one announced. Wall Street giant Lehman Brothers was finalizing bankruptcy papers; Merrill Lynch was clinching its deal to sell itself to Bank of America. Monday would be devastating.

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - A stillborn Israeli baby who was pronounced dead by doctors "came back to life" on Monday after spending hours in a hospital refrigerator.

Thank you very much for your letter. Really, me and my friends appreciate your attention and comfort very much. We all need strong minds here to survive such a big tragedy. Even for believers, because many of us have relatives in and from South Ossetia. It"s difficult to stay indifferent when we listen to such awful stories which happened to our people - children, women, old people, and young men. But as I see it, what"s amazing is this - refugees want to return to Tskhinvali, because that"s where their homes are, and they don"t want to disturb or impose upon other people. I see that South Ossetian people are very special. As we visited victims - they are all open to accept us and appreciate any kind of attention and concern. They were always very kind, open, and simple. But what happened to them? These are the refugees" stories and a short chronicle of what happened.
Thank you for your detailed response to our query about your position on Israel. We carefully read The Declaration on the 60th anniversary of Israel which you sent and which was signed by Eddie Lyle and Brother Andrew of Open Doors. We have been supporters of the ministry for several years because of the work among suffering Christians. But it concerns us that you have signed The Declaration.

Archaeologists have unearthed proof of another Biblical story at Jerusalem 's ancient City of David , this time corroborating the Book of Jeremiah.
A completely intact seal impression, or "bula", bearing the name Gedaliahu ben Pashur was uncovered. The bula is actually a stamped engraving made of mortar.
