There is a coming a wave of persecution against Bible believing Christians in Western nations such as Great Britain, France, Germany, the United States and other nations. The Church in all of these nations is totally unprepared for the level and intensity of the assault that is to come against true Christians. First, of all the primary reason for such persecution is that the Church in Western nations has in many cases forsaken the true God and has turned to false gods. They have chosen to leave the truth of God's Word for the philosophy of humanism. They call themselves and Christians, but in reality they are worshippers of what Dr. Francis Schaeffer used to call the "gods of personal peace and prosperity."

There is a convergence of military, economic, spiritual and political events that amount to a Prophetic Perfect Storm. First we have a global economic meltdown which has turned up the heat hot for the United States, the EU, Russia, the Arab nations, Iran, Pakistan, Israel, China, Mexico and just about every nation on Planet Earth. Global economies are reeling and nation-states are desperate to economically survive and prosper. Now comes the big crisis which is Israel, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and nuclear weapons in the hands of militant Islam.
If Pakistan falls to the Taliban, al Qaeda will have 60 nuclear weapons. The balance of power will radically change for militant Islam!

My spiritual mentor, Dr. Francis Schaeffer, who has been called the greatest Evangelical theologian of the last 100 years, warned that as the anarchy increased in our world due to moral relativism, that totalitarianism would rise to control the chaos. Schaeffer issued that warning over 30 years ago and said we had a brief window in which to preserve our religious freedoms. Dr. Schaeffer believed that the greatest contributing factor to the rise of totalitarianism was the fact that the Evangelical Church was accommodating to a growing humanist culture and not standing for Biblical truth. Nowhere is that more apparent than in the "Emergent Church Movement" and in the "Seeker-Friendly Movement," but it is epidemic in the Evangelical culture as a whole. Tragically, what Schaeffer predicted would happen in the church and the culture is now happening before our eyes. Schaeffer stated that it did not matter whether or not the totalitarianism came from the left or the right because the results would be the same.

Moshe Feiglin, head of Manhigut Yehudit (Jewish Leadership Movement) said last week that if he was elected prime minister, he would try to rebuild the destroyed Temple in Jerusalem.
"I don't know if I will have the merit of doing something that is the aspiration of every Jew," said Feiglin. "But if I become prime minister I will take away control over the Temple Mount from the Wakf [the Islamic trust] and reinstate Jewish sovereignty over the entire mount and, hopefully, rebuild the Temple."
My wife asked me a question about Matt 24:24, "..so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect."
I can't yet make sense of the Greek tenses, voices, etc, to know if it is saying:
(a) Negatively it is possible, but not probable.
(b) Affirmatively it is possible
(c) Remotely possible
(d) Not at all possible.
This summary I found on the internet seems correct:
"If this verse is referring to an "elect" it is also saying that they can't be deceived about FALSE CHRISTS AND FALSE PROPHETS. It DOES NOT SAY they can't be deceived about other things, since we have referred to those scriptures that show the whole world has been deceived and that the church has been subject to deception."
Could you tell me how you view this passage in the Greek text?
Concerning His Latest Prophetic Prediction
"If the foundations be destroyed, what shall the righteous do?"
Recently I felt compelled to send out an URGENT message warning of an impending great calamity - such that will cause even God's elect to tremble.
One Bishop asked, "Is there no further word: How should the righteous respond to such a word?"
Moriel Ministries and Jacob Prasch have received multiple inquiries regarding the issuance of a prophetic prediction by David Wilkerson dated March 7th, 2010.
The complication is that although having some additions, it is not new but reiterates one made in 1992 when he said it would be "soon" 17 years ago, and is confusing in that it urges a 30 days emergency food supply be kept on hand, but stating he has no idea of when.

On March 7, 2009 David Wilkerson issued a strong prophetic warning of impending judgment upon America and the world. Wilkerson said, "AN EARTH-SHATTERING CALAMITY IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN. IT IS GOING TO BE SO FRIGHTENING, WE ARE ALL GOING TO TREMBLE - EVEN THE GODLIEST AMONG US.

Dear Sir (s);
As a staunch friend of WND I find myself dropped into a quagmire by the date setting DVD's by a Mr. Mark Biltz.
I am American born but my family are Israeli Messianic Jewish believers (our children were born in Galilee). I speak Hebrew and I matriculated at Hebrew University in Science and did Judaism at Cambridge University (UK), plus a degree in theology at London School of Theology and post graduate studies at Tyndale House Cambridge. I presently teach Jewish hermeneutics at Kings Divinity School, University of Wales and direct a Messianic based ministry with branches in seven countries. I also host a TV program in Great Britain.
