There are many out there that say that America is named in the bible, often they point to Babylon and equate it to New York or Washington DC.
I can't say that I agree.

It's time to prepare for hard times, my friends. And, if you're a bible believing, Christ-following Christian, I believe the coming years will be particularly troublesome. I say "bible-believing, Christ-following Christian" because our degenerating culture has all but stripped the biblical definition of the word "Christian" from today's collective conscience so that it has lost much of it's scriptural meaning, even among many of today's attending church members.

The BBC's director-general Mark Thompson has said that religious broadcasting gives rise to more controversy in his job than any other subject. I am afraid he hasn't seen anything yet.
On Monday, the Corporation announced that it has appointed a Muslim as head of religious broadcasting. This is not a joke, I can assure you.
The person responsible for overseeing the BBC's "” so far "” largely Christian output will be Aaqil Ahmed, a practising Muslim.
Let me say at once that I have nothing whatsoever against Mr Ahmed, who is, I am sure, an excellent broadcaster who may have much to contribute to the coverage of religion.

The Christian Church has long confessed that the books of the New Testament and the Old Testament are divine Scriptures, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The Bible is absolute truth and it is the infallible Word of God.

Former UK Prime Minister, Tony Blair has created the Tony Blair Faith Foundation to unify the world's religions. Blair is especially interested in promoting the benefits of globalization to Christian churches. There are a number of prominent American ministers who have endorsed his Tony Blair Faith Foundation with its emphasis on globalization or global government. In Revelation we read about this coming one world religion and the False Prophet who unites the world's religions in order to bring peace to Planet Earth under the rule of Antichrist.
