Dear YWAM Leadership,
I am writing this e-mail to ask the leadership of YWAM a few questions.
I am wondering how the leadership of YWAM can endorse and work with a false prophet like Benny Hinn?
Loren Cunningham spent a record four days on the Benny Hinn "This Is Your Day" TV show from 2/4 - 2/7/02, thereby giving tacit and actual approval to Hinn's ministry.

When is Church Division Ordained of God, and When is It Not?
As we have often noted, in His high-priestly prayer in the 17th chapter of John's Gospel, Jesus prefaces His prayer for unity amongst believers, in verses 17 to 23, with a prayer that they first of all be sanctified in the truth. Biblical unity, that is the unity of the Spirit, first and foremost depends on that unity being grounded in doctrinal truth. "Sanctify them in the truth, Thy Word is truth" . Moreover, Jesus identifies Himself personally, as the literal incarnation of truth itself (John 14:6), because in the context of the Gospel of John, particularly, Jesus Himself is literally the incarnate Word (John 1:1). In short, if there is no truth, there is no Jesus and if there is no Jesus, there is no unity in Him. His teaching, in which we are to be sanctified, of which He Himself is both the eternal Logos (or "davar" in Hebrew) and of which He is the physical incarnation, is referred to in the New Testament by the Greek term "didaskein". Those rejecting biblical doctrine reject truth and consequently reject Christ, placing themselves under a divine curse, where the Lord Himself will send a delusion, causing them to believe what is false, which will ultimately be the Antichrist (2 Thessalonians 2:3-11).
Jesus REALLY is coming soon!!!
There are many good, valid reasons to believe it. Actually, there are so many reasons to believe it that it would be impossible to discuss them all here. However, a few are worth mentioning.
- The length of time since the First Coming: It has now been about 2000 years since Christianity began. By Bible chronology, it was about 2000 years from Adam to Abraham, and about another 2000 years from Abraham to Jesus Christ. So it is logical to expect a major act of God in our time.
- The threat of atomic war: Many Christians have seen the fulfillment of passages of Scripture that prophesy sudden destruction in the threat nuclear holocaust.

Did Jesus advocate hating one's mother, father, spouse, and children for His sake (Luke 14:26)?
In Luke 14:26 Jesus said, "If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters-yes, even his own life-he cannot be my disciple."

Simple and plain meanings of Grace: Hebrew the word is Chesed meaning covenant mercy, in Greek Charism - gift and in English, underserved favor.
In his article from his website Mr. Timothy Williams perverts God's Word and His grace. Mr. Williams also attacks the church and every Christian indiscriminately with a broad sword and lots of smoke and mirrors. He tells his readers that one can tell who has the "grace of God" by their obedience to the commandments.

" Powder and paint, to make us what we ain't..." the drag queen prostitutes chant. Homosexualism rejects reality, deceiving both self and the public. Those choosing the high-risk lifestyle endanger public health, affordable medicine and the security of the economy! Since San Francisco passed it's gay-rights laws: Colon infections increased 2,500%. Hepatitis A increased 100%, Hepatitis B 300% (casual contraction). Obituaries of men in homosexual journals tally a median age of death at 39 with AIDS, 42 without AIDS. The median age for lesbians is 45 or younger. 75 to 80% of straight married men live to be 65, while only 2% of homosexuals live to be past 65
(Ventura, CA)-Three years of research regarding ministry to children has revealed many surprising outcomes, according to a new book by researcher George Barna. In discussing that volume, entitled Transforming Your Children Into Spiritual Champions, Barna indicated that the wealth of research not only changed his personal perspective on the importance of ministering to young children, but also clarified why churches struggle to have significance in our culture.
Moriel's response to new Mel Gibson film
|Poster to the new Mel Gibson film, The Passion of the Christ|
We carefully watched the Mel Gibson interview by ABC's Dianne Sawyer with preview clips of the film in advance of its release on the Roman Catholic feast of Ash Wednesday.
What nearly jumped out most clearly was Mel Gibson's plain and unequivocal statement: "Someone does not even have to believe in Jesus Christ to enter The Kingdom of God". Jesus Himself on the contrary teaches in The Word of God that "Unless A Man Is Born Again" (through a saving faith in Jesus) he/she cannot possibly enter The Kingdom of God. Gibson's position reflects the ecumenical/inter faith revision in The Roman Catholic catechism 847 (which contradicts 846 in the same catechism which says salvation is available only in The Roman Catholic Church).

Zephaniah 3:18 - "I will gather them that are sorrowful for the solemn assembly who are of thee, to whom the reproach of it was a burden."
This is a dual prophecy by Zephaniah. It has to do with the children of Israel . . and also with spiritual Zion (which is the church of Jesus Christ of the last day). First of all, he was speaking to Jews - that God was going to gather together the dispersed . . . but He was only going to bring back those who had a broken heart for the sad condition of Israel. . . . . He would remember all who carried the reproach. . . all of the horrible things that were going on in God's House. Those who carried the burden of it, He said, "I am going to gather you". He made great promises to these. . .

A Texas-based evangelist says Christians must be educated and equipped to stand against the prevailing philosophical language of the secular world. To do that, he says, believers in America need to have the same attitude as first-century Christians.
Voddie Baucham was a featured speaker during the Pastor's Conference at the recent annual meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention in Indianapolis , Indiana . The young evangelist, who, since founding Voddie Baucham Ministries in 1993, has become one of the most sought-after Bible teachers in America , told his listeners that Christians must realize that contemporary philosophies such as religious relativism are not compatible with genuine Christianity.
