John Hagee's "In Defense of Israel"
Thank you for your e mail.
While I appreciate John Hagee's support for Israel, he is clearly theologically misguided.
Some months ago prior to his book being published we were aware of where he was going and Mike Oppenheimer (a Jewish brother in discernment ministry) and I discussed it and considered some action. The problem is that John Hagee officially denies that he is dual covenant and he seems to accept the basic tenets of the New Testament faith.
Gary S Greig's Pseudo-Scholarly Apologetic For The Unbiblical Antics Of Todd Bentley

Jacob Prasch is the author of several books and holds a non-cessationist pneumatology. He believes in the ongoing operation of charismatic gifts as defined and practiced biblically, but firmly rejects the alleged "revivals" of Lakeland, Toronto, Brownsville, and Pensacola as carnal and demonically-influenced counterfeits of biblical charismata.
Scholarship and Reality
Although my initial academic background was in science, I entered the world of theology at Cambridge University and London Bible College/London School of Theology. This was after serving a number of years as a lay missionary in Israel prior to ordination. In the theological jungle of undergraduate and postgraduate theological and divinity studies and research I learned much about what is indeed a virtual game and how the game is played.

Church Of England To Allow Women Bishops
Reuters
Tuesday, 08 July 2008
The Church of England's governing body has confirmed it will ordain women bishops but also approved measures to accommodate traditionalist opponents.
After six hours of debate over the direction to be taken by the 450-year-old church, the solution hammered out by the synod was a typical Anglican compromise that sought to avoid a mass walkout by opponents of women bishops.

Vatican City, Jun 13, 2008 / 05:50 pm (CNA).- Today as President Bush and Pope Benedict XVI met at the Vatican, the English newspaper, The Telegraph reported that Bush may be considering converting to Catholicism at the end of his presidential term.
The Telegraph indicated that various Italian newspapers have been commenting on the news, especially Il Foglio.
Il Foglio explains that the circulating rumors could be correct: 'anything is possible, especially for someone reborn like Bush." Â Yet, similar to former Prime Minister Tony Blair, 'if anything happens, it will happen after he finishes his period as president, not before. It is similar to Blair's case, but with different circumstances.'
Statement Concerning James Sundquist
To Whom It May Concern
A series of vicious and unfounded attacks against Pastor John Higgins, Mike Gendron, and others (including members of the Moriel team) are being circulated concerning events that transpired at a Conference held at a Calvary Chapel in Tempe , Arizona three years ago in June of 2005 which for some inexplicable reason has been resurrected as an issue. The Conference theme and aim was Roman Catholicism, the Evangelization of Roman Catholics, and the dangers of the ecumenical movement.
