As a serious matter of some urgency Moriel, Jacob Prasch & Pastor Marco Quintana who leads a Moriel affiliated congregation in California request prayer for the following situation involving a baby in the fellowship.
Pastor Quintana reports that one of the little ones in our children ministry, Jude Reyes, has come down with bacterial meningitis. He is 16 months old and his mom and dad have been an incredible support and encouragement in the ministry. Jude is currently at the hospital being treated with antibiotics.I visited him last night, he is not in isolation but the doctor is very concerned because of the possibility of brain damage or other complication. They doctor has done a spinal tap which is how they found he had meningitis. Please pray for Jude and for his parents, Alex and Jeff, that the Lord will grant them wisdom and comfort. Shalom May the Lord bless you (Titus 2:13).
Update: Jude now has a fever and has been very difficult to keep it down. The fever is not good news.
Christian couple Eunice and Owen Johns, who are opposed to homosexuality, have lost the first round of a battle to continue fostering children. Moriel & Jacob Prasch urge our readers globally to pray against this outrageous injustice perpetrated against Christians and against children by the wicked judges and politicians in The UK and to sign the petition.
An enormous mosque could be built next to the Olympics site in Newham, East London, if a radical Islamist sect wins their planning appeal this week. The Tablighi Jamaat sect has been using the site as a mosque without planning permission for four years. They want to build a mega-mosque on the site with a capacity for 12,000 people.
Moriel & Jacob Prasch request prayer for Allistair Gordon, financial administrator of Moriel's Ebyown Children's Ministry in South Africa and the Moriel Africa accountant. Allistair's has been shot and his automobile hijacked near Johannesburg. He is in hospital now in stable condition. Please remember him and his wife Janet in prayer.
We also praise the Lord that Ebyown has moved this week to Capetown where they should be safer.
We desperately need your prayers here in Australia.
Having lived through the devastating floods in Queensland 1974 I am so aware of how perilous things are there. Overnight such terrible walls of water. As many of our Moriel family on the North (Rockhampton etc) are ok and are on high land. Phil Cavanagh, Rita, Peter Danzey and so on.
But now we have Toowoomba and all the way down the Brisbane valley with unprecedented walls of water we have many Moriel brothers and sisters in the path. The Leembruggens were safe at Dalby but it has worsened overnight and I have not been able to contact them this morning.
The alerts to Brisbane are today that this will be the worse floods ever recorded.
My sister and brother -in-law are unable to return to their home (but praise the Lord are safe) We are having constant news flashes for people to evacuate - eight people dead - swept away last night. Please uphold these people in your prayers.
May our merciful Lord intervene.

Christian Aid Mission, December 2010
African Director Rae Burnett received this urgent plea for prayer from one of the Egyptian ministries helped by Christian Aid. Names and specific locations are omitted because of security.
"Our evangelical outreach was canceled because the police are destroying a church in the area where we live and serve. Christians gathered in front of the government building to protest. To everyone's horror, the police opened fire on them. An unknown number of people have died so far, and many others were injured. About 156 were arrested.
Despite our personal sense of loss, Moriel & Jacob Prasch rejoice that our brother and father in The Lord Ernest Lloyd is now with His Messiah whom he loved and served faithfully for many decades.
Reaching very nearly a century in age, Ernest went to be with Yeshua from a Christian medical retirement facility in Northern Ireland. Ernest was the last living link with the age when Jewish evangelism was reborn first in the UK , then in the USA , Russia and Israel.
The first is for my nephew Aiden Winn who is 2 1/2 years old and was diagnosed with a brain tumor last week. He has seizures sporadically and will be operated on next week Dec. 9 to remove the tumor to determine if it is aggressive or benign.  He is my brother's first born son and I would also pray for my brother Ryan and his wife Lindsay for strength and comfort as she is pregnant with their third child. Their second, Mason is fine and will be turning one on Saturday. Please pray for the doctors and all involved that no long term neurological damage will be sustained and Aiden will be healthy in recovery. He will have to relearn some motor skills and how to walk. Both Ryan and Lindsey are believers in Jesus and are raising their children as believers.
Blessings in Jesus.
Jacob Prasch returned from Jordan with a recurrent edema and increased blood pressure plus new (although not serious) changes in his EKG results. He has had a battery of blood chemistries and will be undergoing further medical tests and his medication dosages to control atrial fibrillation and hypertension have been increased. Prayer is requested.
After consultation with his cardiologist changes will need to be made to Jacob's schedule into the forthcoming year. Jacob will be fulfilling his speaking schedule through next month only.
There is no way for our family to thank you all for your prayers, cards, emails. etc. My special thanks to Pastor Chuck Smith for bringing the matter on Sunday before God's people. I will do my best to tell you all what I know. The day before David was to go to Ohio to speak at Vineyard Fellowship in Bradford, Ohio, he became seriously ill. It actually started on Wednesday, and he had to cancel his Radio Bible Class - something he rarely ever does. We went to the URGENT CARE up on Chapman Blvd. in Orange, CA, early on Thursday, as he was getting progressively worse. They took a few simple X-rays and gave him a Leviquin (not sure on the spelling!), a form of antibiotic and sent us home. As he was resting on Thursday afternoon, he went into violent "shaking" with serious "chills" and seemed to be losing his ability to know what was happening. It scared me very much, even though we all know that hope is "beyond the grave." Our commitment is to the Lord and His wonderful promises!
