The floor is now filled and will be compacted on Monday. Then a layer of sand before the water proof is layed then the slab is poured. The building which is basically a large room will be tiles and the walls completed before plastering. Then is the inside walling, doors and ceiling. Then we can move in (Please Jesus). The build begins with prayer every day.
There is a lot I could say about our trip to Uganda, but to get a picture of what went on there I will try and present the good, the bad and the ugly. Not that this is a criticism of Uganda or Ugandan people, it is however a picture that you will find in most East Africa or third world countries. A picture of tyrants, victims, heroic deeds, heroes and a system that seems impossible to break unless Jesus comes quickly.
PO BOX 210, Napier 7270,
Dear friends and family.
Its with thanksgiving I can bring you this latest report from South Africa. The month of January was really busy and although better prepared against the elements we did battle a bit with the recent rains. Nether the less we have much to report.
Dear friends and Family
Dear Friends and family
Our first week on the Mount of Olives project has been and gone with lots of incidents and demonstration of Gods sufficiency. Christmas eve saw us hit by a storm with Gale force winds and cold rain. As far as I know this is unseasonal. The next day saw temperatures of over 100f, its seems we had a run of inclement weather which took us to task and showed us how little we knew of our new environment. What a learning curve. I will explain the challenges we faced before going on to explain what we actually achieved as I don't want the reader  to end this weekly report with the wrong impression.
