Like a prayer: The Italian nun who spent 20 years as a lapdancer
By Nick Pisa
A lapdancer has opted for the most dramatic of 'career' changes and become a nun.
Anna Nobili, 38, spent 20 years performing in strip clubs across Europe.
Deciding she wanted more out of life, Miss Nobili has joined the order of the Sister Workers of the Holy House of Nazareth.

Today we are mourning the death of a beloved brother in the Lord, Sam. Sam died yesterday from Meningitis which, because of his status, became more critical than usual to control. Sam leaves a widow in Loraine and 4 children. But what can we say about Sam? I have used Sam many times in sermon illustrations on the subject of Redemption lift. The brief time we knew him was an example of how Christ can indwell and transform a life. His life went from unsaved to saved through the witness of his wife and also his daughter who came to faith. Because of this, Sam began coming to church and then committed his life to Yeshua. Then we saw what God did in his life as he was found outside his home most evenings reading scripture and even later on in his walk holding bible studies with others around him. He was a firm man, with lots of character and a great and also with lots of determination to see Jesus lifted up. This led to him spending hours with Salvador learning to read scripture in Zulu, one of the languages he spoke, as he initially did not know how to read. When he had the offer of being taught to read in Zulu he grabbed it with both hands, and what was the reason? So he could read the bible for himself! But Sam wasn't content with that, he also desired to read scripture in English too.

Greetings in the name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah
I apologise for the lateness of this update, I am currently touring the USA with Jacob Prasch and this email comes all the way from sunny California where we are attending a last day"s prophecy and Israel conference. The conference has been well attended due to the interest in the last days brought about by the present conflict in Israel and Lebanon . In fact not only Christians are interested but also non-believers who may have a passing interest in these things are asking questions concerning these last days. Questions such as, "is this going to bring the end of the world?" One lady commented, "You Christians should be happy because what the Bible says will happen are happening" .

Dear Friends in Christ
Several months ago I wrote an article on the importance of testimony. In fact this was a message I preached last August in Australia and it was the message that was on my mind as I made my way back home from the UK just this week. In 3John we see the testimonies of three people. First of all Gaius, a man who the great Apostle John desired to follow a good example. For him to do this John sets before him two testimonies to choose from. First of all, Demetrius v12, who received a good testimony from everyone and whom ' the truth itself', bore testimony too. Then secondly, there was Diotrophes ' who loved to be first among them ' v9. It is suspected from certain scholars that Gaius was a member of Diotrophes assembly and that John was persuading him not to go down the same road of this man in his attitudes towards others.
Today the 5th of November, Ebyown took delivery and had installed the new Generator donated by Moriel supporters from the USA. The Generator will enable the whole site to have power during the frequent black outs experienced during thunder storms and whenever the decrepit South African electric system breaks down. We at Ebyown would like to thank those involved with the installation and provision of this valuable piece of equipment. May the Lord Bless you.

It was good to see Jacob and his lovely wife Pavia on their visit to South Africa. High on Jacobs agenda was a visit to the site of the Childrens village. Jacob and Pavia are very excited at the potential. Although it will be at least June before the initial influx of children we were able to show them the outreach work that is going on. This included a visit to the neighbouring squatter camp where conditions can be very grim.
