Missions Opportunities
Must be a regenerate Jewish believer or married to a Jewish believer in order to have right to immigrate under Israeli Law of Return, and willing to do military reserve duty if required. Must speak both Hebrew and English (knowledge of Russian, Yiddish, French, Latino/Spanish or Arabic would be additionally helpful). At least 10 years experience in Jewish Evangelism, and must be in doctrinal agreement with Moriel Statement of Faith. Theological graduate or graduate in biblical languages or in Judaism, or in Jewish history and Jewish Studies preferred but not essential. Should have spent time in Israel and be familiar with Israeli culture and society. References required. Interested In Working With Special Needs Kids?
Time period maximum of 3 months Job description – children’s play and teaching assistant Ideal person – young and energetic (ideal for gap student) Good health. Experience with kids, a desire to work with special needs kids. Motivated and a team player. At the moment we have six children with three more coming soon. All have a special physical or mental need. What we can offer: Accommodation, food. What you will need to provide. Return air ticket, police clearance letter, reference letter of your church leader, pocket money for treats and any visa you may need. Our problems are at a foundational level, which means there is plenty to do for everyone as we see the site grow in preparation for the arrival of orphans. This means that short term missions are something we want to develop and encourage. Maybe the thought of short term missions is something that you have considered but have not known how to go about it?
