Orthodox Opposition to Jewish Believers in Arad, Israel

Please continue to pray for:

• The body of Messiah here in Arad that we may continue to trust
  on the Lords power alone.

• Polly Sigulim in front of her house was the main demonstration last Wednesday. More that 200 ultra orthodox were there with the chief rabbi's of Arad and other religious leaders. All was permitted and supervised by the police. With big loud speakers the chief rabbis said terrible things about us that were hard to listen to. (More demonstrations are being held constantly also in front of houses of other believers in Arad).

  Polly is a widow who, apart from her own children, takes care of more children and teenagers - through the social welfare agencies. Her faith is a well known fact to them. All the kids come from messianic background (orphans and others) apart from 1 little baby whom she agreed to take as a temporary emergency case from the agency.

• N. - a girl soldier who came to faith in Yeshua before she was 18. Yad le Ahim (the aggressive anti missionary group) is now trying to use this as a trap against us.

• The people of Arad they were exposed to the whole matter of Yeshua the Messiah. May it bring them to get interested in what the whole thing is about and be led to salvation.

• Yehoshua a reporter of one of the local newspapers and the rest of the staff there. With God's grace we found favor in his eyes until now. May god bless him for that and may he too (like the meaning of his name) find salvation. Thank God, the letter we sent to the paper was published. Now, thousands of people are exposed to the simple message of peace with God.

• The ultra orthodox population in Arad. That also from them some (and more) would dare to check the truth of the forbidden book New Testament. Please remember them as they have to go through these unpleasant situations in front of their own houses.

• The Arad police - that they would not give up to the pressures of the ultra-orthodox group.

We thank God for what is happening here. Even though we may have
natural fears, our strength and courage come from the Lord only.
