We own a Hostel/Backpackers called Surfpackers, on the world renown Surfbreak Supertubes, in Jeffreys Bay (J-Bay) South Africa, as part of our outreach to the surfing nations of the world. It was "planted" on a Word received (Isaiah 2) that we have to establish the house, and G-d will send in the nations... (rephrased) Since we started almost 4 years ago, more than 6000 people have been trough the place, 6000 seeds of real life in the Messiah sown through "Life Style Evangelism" etc.
Me and my wife are both Jewish, although we grew up in a Christian environment. Our parents observed only a few of the Jewish customs, like Shabbat (on Sunday), Pesach, Pentecost and in a way Succoth (not the other feasts) mostly because of Church influence and discrimination against all that were Jewish in South Africa at that time. We, as directed by G-d, "reinstated" all the feasts in obedience, as part of our heritage and as "Messianic Jews". On Friday evenings we celebrate the Shabbat with everyone in the house, as our "temporary family", taking part and enjoying a traditional (African) dinner afterwards for free. It is amazing to witness people from every continent of this world, submitting without any criticism, to the G-d given weekly feast. It has opened doors to talk, to connect and to speak openly about Yeshua and His redemptive work for all nations. Many came to salvation, even been baptized in the sea out front... to the East.
It has only been a few months now since we subscribed to your newsletter, and a fruitful few months it has been indeed. Having people from every continent and Island on this globe staying with us under one roof, necessitates that one stay in contact and on par with what's happening the world over. Your newsletter brings that very needed balance. The Scripture reference, as a "prophetic" word to highlight news events etc. is perfect and such an inspiration. Many answers could be given to some tough questions from travelers, using your newsletter and web page as directive. The new and added "hyperlinked to source web page" is phenomenal, with so much information it is really up to us, the reader, to stay updated with world events.
Thank you for making our, sometimes very difficult and challenging ministry, so much easier. May G-d abundantly bless and keep you. May His wisdom be anointing oil on your heads... With Love and much appreciation from...

I liked this trial, up till now I have found it OK to just browse down the list and pass quickly any that I don't need to look at (are there any??), I find I haven't time to study them all, so how you find time to process them beats me, but this is the best news source I have come across... To cut down on the time taken to produce the list, why not just list the categories and hyperlink those?

Greetings in the Precious Name of Jesus, May I first of all say how much we appreciate the 'Be Alert' newsletter. For those in a rush and who isn't these days, the new 'quick glance' facility together with the links would be ideal. But, it does not take all that much extra time for one to scroll through the mail anyway. If it takes a lot of extra work then forget it, because if it isn't broken then it doesn't need fixing. My advice would be to stay with what works best for you in order that you may devote more time to research which would be more beneficial to you and to your readers. Your views on "The Passion" strike a responsive chord with me. I think the American Churches are over the top. This film's attraction will pass and the true work of the Churches will be more difficult than ever after this episode - that's all it is, an episode. Actually, I would hope to obtain a DVD of The Passion in due course but to regard it as a tool for Biblical evangelism is just not on.

I had checked this false prophet out through Let us Reason ministries and found him lacking on a Scriptural basis. We have been aware of the Chinese attitude about the 'Unregistered Church, since we first went there in 1985. The Church in all those countries are growing, and are causing panic in the Governments. Vietnam is in the same catagory, but there are hundreds of thousands of believers there. I know people from New Zealand who go there often, to give teaching and Bibles. There is a great danger and much persecution going on. Paul told Timothy that in the last days perilous time would come and so we know where we are on God's time table.

My husband and I are thoroughly enjoying being kept up to date with the events of these end times. The content brings some interesting discussion in our small home group. Dear Scott, re South Africa. Whats new, yes when Mandela dies it will hit the fan. He knows it and to his credit he seems to want to ensure it does not happen. I am no Mandela fan but it does seem he really wants a peacefull and equal South Africa. Most whites are sell outs, here in the Western Cape they have sold out the coloured people to the blacks to retain their perks. I myself am white from the UK. It happened to us (working classes) the same way by the same people! I have no real sympathy with many whites here, the writing has been on the wall for the last 10 years. I do however believe the Freedom Front, Afrikaans, are ready since these people understand the politics of South Africa better than the English. We live in very dangerous times, a bit like the Titanic just waiting to hit the iceberg. However it is going to be a lot more bloody unless people wake up.

I am a conservative Christian and a Republican. I am in agreement with you on G.W.Bush. He has not denounced his skull & Bones affiliation and that disqualifies him as a Christian right there. He prays in cult churches, he as opened our borders to terrorist and funds the things that God hates.

You have no idea how timely your article is on the film "The Passion." I have been discussing this with some friends that think it is a good thing. I keep asking them the same question, "Why did Mel Gibson feel compelled to go to non-Catholic Churches to preview his film? Also, where will all the proceeds from this film go, back into the coffers, that have been depleted because of the settlements for the Pedophile priests. I have been praying that Moriel/Jacob would finally release a statement or article concerning this film, well Praise God for answered prayers....

Your latest publication ''Mezuzot'' was the most powerful, honest piece I've read for a long time. I read it to my family, one of whom is particularly errant in the matter of life partners (plural) & confesses Jesus as Lord, baptised, but sadly apparent as ''seed on dry ground''.
We had honest and true observations/comparisons to Samson's life style aired, received with appreciation in the light of God's Word, thanks to your exposition. Pray with us for rain to water the dry ground further & that the promise to have regular bible study together holds firm.Pray for Deborah please.
