Her appeal was thrown out and her execution sentence upheld. I gather the judicial process has now been exhausted. Political pressure now seems to be the only way of saving this Christian mom accused of blasphemy in Pakistan.

Dear Activists,

Are you able to help defend Israel this Christmas?

One of the most unwelcome Christmas traditions of recent years has been the one-sided focus on Bethlehem by anti-Israel activists. This small town in the West Bank is home to not only one of the most revered sites in Christianity, but also a dwindling Christian community. The blame for this is placed solely on Israel"s separation barrier, with no mention made of the fact that it was constructed to stop terrorist attacks (saving lives on both sides). Nor is any explanation given for why Christians are in fact disappearing from both the Palestinian territories, and the wider Middle East as a whole " with the exception of Israel. The only country in the region where Christians are free to live and worship in freedom and safety has become the prime target of those who shroud their dislike for Israel in alleged concern for this religious minority.

Sexual Orientation Discrimination Law

Religious Exemptions Removed!

The Australia federal Labor government is pushing ahead with its proposal to ADD 'sexual orientation' and gender identity' as protected attributes to federal anti-discrimination laws.

The government had initially proposed wide-ranging changes to the anti-discrimination laws - including combining all the discrimination laws from five Acts. However, due to public outcry at the restrictions they would place on freedom of speech and freedom of religion, the Labor government ditched the proposals - ALL EXCEPT the addition of sexual orientation, gender identity and intersex to the current Sex Discrimination Act.

State of Moriel 2011-2012

The Ballad of Gorgeous George and Jittery Jacob

George Mueller was a man of God if there ever was one. Spiritually I cannot place myself in his league by any means, but there are obvious inescapable comparisons, not between us but between the challenges faced. Before coming to know Jesus, Mueller was apparently something of a kind of philandering lush who was rather lavish with cash enjoying the high life. After coming to know Jesus, however, he had a heart for poor children (the urban poverty and plight of homeless children in the UK in his day was something akin to Third World conditions today as described in Dickens novels). Less noble in lifestyle than his London counterpart, Dr. Barnardo, Mueller of Bristol had been quite the character.

Petition to Defend Africa

AIDS & HIV are de-populating Africa. In Africa however, unlike in the developed world, HIV infection is not statistically related to a homosexual lifestyle. As if enough Black Africans are not dead from AIDS The British government of David Cameron wants to use economic and political coercion to change African laws concerning sodomy which is largely alien to African culture.

This is Cameron's new face of racist colonialist imperialism at its most outrageous worst. To force a homosexual moral agenda on an African culture and threaten assistance to the poor to force their acquiescence  to it is nothing less than satanic. We urge prayer that God will raise His Hand against Cameron in judgment and that African governments will resist this pressure.

Christian Bookshop at Centre of Riots Saved

Wednesday 17 August 2011

[caption id="attachment_7726" align="alignright" width="300" caption="The Cornerstone Bookshop, Lavender Hill, London after the riots"][/caption]

A Christian bookshop threatened in the riots in London last week has been miraculously protected.

Windows of the large corner shop in the Lavender Hill area were smashed in, but none of the Bibles or books were touched and only a few coins were missing from the till.

The Cornerstone Christian Bookshop has been serving the community for over 21 years. According to DigitalJournal, a gang of looters began to set light to the shop before running away, but one rioter amazingly returned to extinguish the fire allowing the shop to open up for business after only one day of closure. Only a 15cm fire mark remains of the attempted arson.
