The following was forwarded to Moriel:
Jews for Jesus came to our Church this weekend -- Joel Chernoff (Messianic Praise Concert) on Friday evening (11/19/2010). One of his opening songs was 'Messiah to Come' -- to cleanse everyone. 2 speakers sharing the platform with him was Major General Eyal Ben Reuven (not saved) and Eeki Elner (The Founder of Israel's Leadership Institute) also not saved.
Is the 'Hebrew Movement' part of the Dominionism we are seeing in these last days? I believe most of it was about 'How to make this world a better one' and raise money for the Israel Leadership Institute.
Blessings in Jesus.
Jacob Prasch returned from Jordan with a recurrent edema and increased blood pressure plus new (although not serious) changes in his EKG results. He has had a battery of blood chemistries and will be undergoing further medical tests and his medication dosages to control atrial fibrillation and hypertension have been increased. Prayer is requested.
After consultation with his cardiologist changes will need to be made to Jacob's schedule into the forthcoming year. Jacob will be fulfilling his speaking schedule through next month only.

The Theology of Scripture vs. the Pseudo-Theology of Apostasy, Heresy and Idiocy
In the sphere of Jewish evangelism Isaiah 53 is sometimes wrongly called "The Forbidden Chapter" because it is nt included in the liturgical Haf Torah readings in the synagogue Siddur. The reason for its omission is in fact pre- Christian, dating back to the proto-Hasmonean period when Torah reading was outlawed by pagan Selucid authorities so Jews sought broad thematically comparable ritual readings to what the Torah portion or Paroch Ha Shavua would have otherwise been. In fact, the Hebrew liturgical poet Eliezer Ha Kalir incorporated the reading of Isaiah 53 into the Yom Kippur Maqzor for a liturgical reading on the Day of Atonement in the Middle Ages. In Judaism, the actual "Forbidden Chapter" which Jews are exhorted not to read in rabbinic commentary is Daniel 9 predicting the death of the Messiah prior to the destruction of the Second Temple which transpired in 70 AD. Its reading is specifically discouraged because "the time of Messiah's coming is foretold in it".
So what else should be expected from a pope who in his youth wore a swastika, the uniform of a Nazi, and fought for Hitler and the Third Reich, who now heads the same church that perpetrated the Inquisitions, and who operates from the same Vatican that shielded Nazi war criminals from justice with its infamous "Rat Lines"? When has the apostate Church of Rome ever NOT hated Jews? The latest Vatican action simply promulgates and continues their long, evil history. So what else should be expected from a harlot church who fundamentally rejects the Word of God? It stands to reason that if Rome rejects the Bible it will reject that the Scripture teaches the biblical land is the land of Israel, not an Islamic-Arab, redefined Palestine.
Now as to the times and the epochs, brethren, you have no need of anything to be written to you. For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. While they are saying, "Peace and safety!" then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day would overtake you like a thief; for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness; (1 Th. 5:1"“5)
This is not a rhetorical question nor am I being derisive or sardonic, but can someone explain to me why the timing and structure of the End Times was no mystery to the Early Church and yet we seem to hold endless conferences and publish untold numbers of books and websites on the subject? In all fairness, perhaps I need to re-frame the issue. It actually seems that the problem does not pertain so much to the thirst for knowledge about the fulfillment of God's plans as the day of the Lord approaches, but how to live in the shadow of that knowledge. It might be the age old issue of the positioning of the cart relative to the horse. It seems that there are some who believe if they can just obtain enough information it will inspire them to live as they should in the shadow of the Last Days; Paul teaches we already have enough information so that we should be doing nothing BUT living as we should in the shadow of the Last Days.

Re: Recent Alex Awad Article on "Christians in Palestine"
I direct a Christian missions and evangelistic ministry operating in several countries including Israel among both Arabs and Jews.
This past week our Bible shop and coffee bar outreach to the Arab community in Galilee was attacked by Islamic terrorists with stun grenades injuring one of our staff, Tino, an Arab Christian brother. Our work in the West Bank is directed by another Arab Christian brother, Pastor Najeeb, who has a family but of whom we recently learned has a Fatwa (an Islamic religious death order) placed on him for evangelizing Muslims. We have witnessed Hamas closing down the Christian book shops in Gaza and the Palestinian Authority a Christian TV station in Bethlehem last April, all of which the Israeli authorities allowed to operate. We are therefore confused by the Awad article lauding the friendship between Arab Muslims and Christians.
A Response To A Reader's Letter Concerning Petition To UN To Oppose Anti-Religious Freedom Resolution
Moriel and I (Jacob Prasch) do indeed oppose this current outrageous "anti-religious freedom" UN Resolution (being pushed by Islamic nations). But I am afraid we cannot any longer cooperate with the Open Doors organization in anything and the fact is that we have no more respect for Open Doors than we do for the UN.
A Reader Writes:
I watched this [Internet video on a "Greek Jesus or Hebrew Yeshua"] and found it fascinating...The man giving the seminar believes strictly in the text of the Old Testament (does not believe Jesus is the Messiah), but because he is a Hebrew scholar, he is able to shed light on some interesting aspects of the New Testament. Turns out much of the New Testament may have been written first in Hebrew, translated into Aramaic, and then into Greek. Very convincing evidence of this. Hope you can watch....
These other arguments some have tried to influence you with such as the New Testament being written in Hebrew, etc. are unsubstantiated and the cause of propagating such notions is generally the domain of pseudo-scholarly charlatans.
