It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the going home to the Lord of Simpiwe. Simpiwe came to us two years ago when we received a phone call from a Johannesburg hospital where she had been staying for some time due to her severe disabilities. Simpiwe was quadriplegic and had to be nursed 24/7. She could not swallow and so had to be tube fed. Her Cerebral Palsy was quite severe. However the thing we will remember about Simpiwe is her bright smile. Our son Chris would often stroke her face with her favorite toy, a fish with big lips, he called it the kissing fish. This would have Simpiwe laughing so much. Also like any young lady she had a fondness for the taste of chocolate. She couldn't swallow it but for treats we would put some in her mouth and her eyes would roll back with pleasure.

Dear Brothers and Sisters
Greetings in Jesus.
Summer is almost upon us and it's been nice to feel the hot sun on our faces and also see Ebyown teaming with New Life. The Geese have chicks and so do the Chickens who have become laying machines. In fact I have just been over to the Church and found 7 eggs, four in the corner and three on the shelf of the pulpit where my water usually goes, Chris has just found 10 under his hut and later today we are sending the kids on an egg hunt. The kids as well are enjoying the turn in the weather and everything now is done outside in the sunshine.
Greetings in Jesus.
The last two months have been busy with a lot of changes and a lot of traveling. My tour of Australia and New Zealand went well with me making a lot of New contacts. I have always loved Australia but the chance to go and meet people from a new land was exciting. I caught up with the NZ administrator Nigel for the first time. We had spoken over the phone and corresponded by email many times but to meet him face to face was wonderful and to see the hard work he puts in.

Various people at various times have done commendable things to raise money for EBYOWN.
Marty and Carol Foster of Agape Fellowship in Belfast, Northern Ireland heard Dave Royle speak at their church and were really encouraged with the work and support to the many children at EBYOWN. This brother and sister decided to run the Belfast marathon this year and raised £800 for EBYOWN. This is their first marathon and was 26 miles.
Thank you Marty and Carol and God bless!
Dear Brethren in Jesus,
We lost another one of our orphan children in Africa. It was Mouse (Sidonele). It is always very difficult spiritually and emotionally for all of us when this happens. But it inevitably too often does. It is especially heart breaking for the Moriel missionaries who take care of these children and above all for Dave & Lyn in particular. It is the kind of thing you mentally expect but can never get use to. It is our first loss since little Angel went to be with Jesus. Moriel / Ebyown is the only family these mostly HIV orphan babies and small orphan children have ever known or had. Little Mouse never even had much of a chance.
There are few things more painful than burying a child. Please keep Dave & Lyn and our missionaries and the children they care for in prayer.
Below is Dave Royle's brief letter. There is nothing more to say. Whenever this happens there never really is except: " Come Quickly Lord Jesus".
We have some sad news. As you know we had to take Mouse to hospital with serious health issues. Today we found out he went to be with the Lord. He was only 6.
We rest assured that the merciful God we serve will gather these young
