Washington - US President George W Bush wished the world's Muslims well as they began observing Ramadan on Thursday, saying the United States was richer for its own citizens of Islamic faith.
President of the United States
The Honorable George W. Bush
Dear Mr. President
After long hesitation I am writing to you this letter. Having been your long time supporter it is hard for me to see the waning of your legacy in this last phase of your presidency.

President George Bush has repeated his belief all religions, "whether they be Muslim, Christian, or any other religion, prays to the same God" " “ an assertion that caused outrage among evangelical leaders when he said it in November 2003.
Dear Mr. Campolo,
We've never met, but somehow I feel like I know you. Maybe it's because you've had a huge impact on my spiritual life through your books and speaking. But recently I was disappointed and confused by a stance you took on some important issues.

Televangelist Jerry Falwell, whom some would describe as a " ˜pulpit politician" who sought to identify biblical Evangelical Christianity with the Republican Party, died suddenly at Liberty University on May 15th. Our views of the man"s ministry are mixed, but our views of the man are not. Whatever our differences, in the end he was still one of us.
When the New York City public/tax payer funded cchool system outlawed nativity scenes from school property as a religious symbol but allows Islamic religious symbols and Jewish Menorah's for Chanukka, the descrimination was legally challenged.
When an Evangelical preacher (whom Moriel and various other ministries distrusted and warned against) was found involved with male homosexual prostitutes and the illegal dangerous drug crystal meth, the mainstream media with its anti-Christian bias had a field day. We at Moriel  had no admiration for Haggert and cautioned people of his involvement with C. Peter Wagner's shenanigans even prior to his being exposed. When Haggert himself was warned by two discernment ministries in partnership with us, he was advised by James Dobson to ignore them and cease correspondence.  Then Dobson was the first to bail out on Haggert. Haggert indeed brought public disgrace to the name and cause of Christ, adding his name to a long list of other theocrats and televangelists who have done the same.
